5 Great DIY Wall Art Ideas For The Home

Hello friends,

Spring is here and, once again, the DIY bug took over... Looking at my trustful best friend - Pinterest - where an ocean of options is at one's reach. But, just like an ocean, it can sometime get really dark, confusing and hard to make out something of it. Hence my post today. To provide you with a small selection of easy-to-do, easy-to-follow and guaranteed-to-make-a-statement DIY projects for the home. In this post the spotlight is on wall art.

1. DIY Shower Curtain Oversized Wall Art

What a great idea! Some of the prints on shower curtains are really beautiful and this tutorial provides an inexpensive way to turn them into art for your walls. Click on the image for the link to the step-by-step tutorial.

2.  DIY String Heart Wall Art

A great gift idea for a loved one... No further instructions to this one. The images below prove how easy it is. All you need is just a bit of skill using a hammer & nails. ;-)

3. DIY Decorative Wall Mirror

Very creative! A great use for those eggs cartoons. Plus the paper has such a beautiful  hand-made texture. TIP:  The tutorial uses MDF for the frame, you can skip a couple of steps by using a framed mirror (you'll need one with a thick, plain frame). Click on the image for the link to the step-by-step tutorial.

4. DIY Canvas Featuring a Quote/Word.

An intermediate level project. By yours truly...;-)

5. DIY Instagram Wall

In love with Instagram? You gotta check this out. Make that virtual wall a reality! ;-)

That's it for today's post... Good luck with your next DIY project!
