4 themes for inspiration on how to decorate your Christmas Tree
I grew up with the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve… Santa would come visit that night and, the very next morning, there would be presents around that beautiful tree. Presents for everyone. I cannot describe the excitement I would feel as kid, as I decorated the tree with homemade candy & handmade garlands (which, obviously, I’d be making with my sisters days before…) Point is, as a kid, I was very much involved in the process and the Christmas tree was a big part of the Christmas Eve.
Yes, I too have changed as the world around me has changed. However, I am still trying my best to not put up the Christmas tree until the second week of December. And still doing my very best to keep a teenage daughter and an active, easily-distracted son engaged in the process. Not easy; I admit.
