Dining room lighting fixture dimensions and placement
Updating the light fixtures in a room can dramatically change the way it looks. The right lighting can make a room look larger, feel cozier and highlight its best features while downplaying any 'sore' areas.
In this blog post we will review the dining room lighting needs and the rule of thumb when it comes to your lighting fixture dimensions and installation.
- Your dining room chandelier or pendant should be no wider than 12" less than the width of your table, as pictured in the image below. (for example, a 48" wide table allows for a lighting fixture with a maximum width of 36")
- The bottom of the chandelier or pendant should sit at 30" above the table. This height is the recommended height for an 8' ceiling. Raise the fixture 3" higher for each additional foot of ceiling height.
Here are some beautiful examples and sources of inspiration for your dining room lighting options.
Depending on the size of the room, for additional light or ambiance, you can choose to add wall sconces or floor/table lamps. If you opt for sconces, they should be hung at about 60" from the floor and 6'-8' apart. Check out the images below for visual inspiration.
Stay tuned for more lighting tips. In my next 'Lighting 101' post I will address lighting options and tips for your living room.

I promised Great Dr. Odunga to post this testimony and I really want to say “Thank You” to everyone who supported me through the years. My name is Manuel Franco, New Berlin, Wisconsin. My story of how I won the Powerball lottery of $768.4M is a bit of a tale. I was feeling very lucky that day because I had contacted Great Odunga to help me with the winning Powerball numbers. I really had that great great feeling that I looked at the camera wanting to wink at it. I only did a tiny part of it when he told me he would give me the numbers and trusted him. He gave me the numbers after I played a couple other tickets along with it for $10. I checked my ticket after the winnings came online and saw the numbers were correct including the Power play. I screamed for about 10 minutes because it felt like a dream coming into reality. I had won $768.4M. Thank you Great Odunga. Well, his email is odungaspelltemple@gmail.com You can also call or Whats-app him at +2348167159012 so you guys can contact him

I am very happy to share these great testimonies on how i won $64.000.000USD. The best thing that has ever happened in my life is how I won the lottery mega jackpot. I am a man who believes that one day I will win the lottery. Finally, my dreams came true when I emailed DR EMWANTA and told him I needed the lottery numbers. I have spent so much money on a ticket just to make sure I win. But I never knew that winning was so easy until the day I met the spell caster online which so many people have talked about that he is very great at casting lottery spells, so I decided to give it a try. I contacted this great Doctor and he did a spell and he gave me the winning lottery numbers. Believe me when the draws were out I was among winners. I won $64.000.000USD. Praise be to the incredible Lord Meduza, I’ve never seen or heard of his lottery spell failing, not even once, and that includes my own experience. My name is alison una from Germany. I am deeply grateful to a man called Doctor Iyare, whom I believe was instrumental in helping me recover from herpes and my youngest sister recover from hepatitis. I was introduced to him by a Brazilian doctor who claimed to have benefited from his herbal treatment for a viral condition six years ago. The doctor told me, “Doctor Iyare is gifted, a man of few words, and trustworthy. Contact him, and you will be glad you did.” Hearing such words from a highly regarded medical professional encouraged me to reach out to him out of curiosity. When I contacted Doctor Iyare, I explained both my condition and my sister’s. He suggested treating me first before attending to my sister, which he said would demonstrate the effectiveness of his treatment. He advised me on certain things to avoid during the treatment period and recommended that I undergo laboratory testing after the prescribed course. followed his instructions and took the herbal treatment as directed. Afterward, I went for the recommended laboratory test. Receiving my results was one of the happiest moments of my life, and I was moved to tears of joy. Following my experience, I immediately requested treatment for my younger sister’s hepatitis condition. We arranged for the herbal remedy to be delivered, and it arrived within a few days. According to our experience, her condition improved after completing the treatment, and our family’s joy was restored. She often says I am her hero for helping her seek assistance. Because of our experience, I encourage others to keep the following contact information: WhatsApp: +234 903 748 2568 Email: dr.iyare22@gmail.com

Hi My name is Mona. I just want to share my experience with the world on how I got my love back and saved my marriage… I was married for 7 years with 4 kids and we lived happily until things started getting ugly and we had fights and arguments almost every time… it got worse at a point that he filed for divorce… I tried my best to make him change his mind & stay with me cause I loved him with all my heart and didn’t want to lose him but everything just didn’t work out… he moved out of the house and still went ahead to file for divorce… I pleaded and tried everything but still nothing worked. The breakthrough came when someone introduced me to this wonderful, great spell caster Dr Zuma, who eventually helped me out… I have never been a fan of things like this but just decided to try reluctantly cause I was desperate and left with no choice… He did special prayers and cast a love spell on him. Within 24hours he called me and was sorry for all the emotional trauma he had cost me, he moved back to the house and we continue to live happily, the kids are happy too and we are expecting our fourth child… I have introduced him to a lot of couples with relationship problems across the world and they have had good news… Just thought I should share my experience cause I strongly believe someone out there needs it… You can contact him on spiritualherbalisthealing@gmail.com

There’s a lot of stigma attached to cold sores, as well as many misconceptions. For example, herpes is typically thought of as a sexually transmitted disease (STD), but the type that causes cold sores is often transmitted in childhood through close skin-to-skin contact. One older study found more than 25 percent of kids are infected by age 7, Reports also show 1 in 10 people in the USA is infected with this virus. My Son was infected after birth with HSV1. Over the years I have tried all means to get him cured of the cold sores(hsv1), but all efforts were not successful until I met Herbalist Dr Razor . After reviewing and placing an order through https://herbalistrazorherb.wixsite.com/drrazorherbalhome I was able to Get My 8 year old Son cured through Natural Medicine from Herbalist Dr Razor . His contact Email Address : drrazorherbalhome@gmail.com . Telephone or whatsapp +2349065420442. THANKS ALOT FOR SAVING MY CHILD..
